Greg Bounce – Can I Now Feel? | Daydream

Lisbon-based singer-songwriter Greg Bounce just released his second track of the year, “Can I Now Feel?” – a smooth indie pop tune with mellow vocals and groovy guitars. Greg takes the listener on a journey into the unknown on this track through ambient atmospheres, attractive synths and groovy beats.

The almost four-minute track opens with soft vocals floating over wide synth arpeggios and a basic drum pattern. There is a bouncy feel to the rhythm, which is brought about by the excellent bassline that complements the beat really well. Greg’s delicate vocals sound amazing with the track’s instrumentation, aiding to the feel-good, mellow vibe it has.

The lyrics that seem to explore an adventure outdoors, which makes it a perfect track for any hiking playlist, or even for a road trip to the sunset! – “Climbing mountains, feel good to be walking / Round a corner, it’s warmer, come in closer and we’ll never look back.”.

A certain optimism permeates his voice, making one forget about worries for a while, and reminding you to relax for a bit. In addition, the song’s arrangement is such, that it doesn’t sound monotonous at all, with new instruments and grooves being introduced as the track progresses. Even though Greg might question whether he’s feeling anything, there’s no doubt the listeners are! A top-notch production, mixed beautifully.

“Can I Now Feel?”, is the follow up to Greg’s debut release “Fear That Love”, that has a more upbeat sound, yet sticks to his signature aesthetic. His two releases give us a glimpse of his upcoming album and EP, and I can’t wait to hear more!
