A.b. Violet – EQUINOX | Converge of two stories

With her current album, ‘EQUINOX,’ singer-songwriter A.b. Violet makes a positive impact. The album sticks out to me because of the ideas it incorporates, and how skilfully the ideas are conveyed makes a massive impression. I was really enthralled by the atmosphere created by listening to the album. The setting is both dreamlike and meaningful in terms of the songwriting’s ideas and how they evolved to these great textures and layers. The quality of the performance is excellent and constant. As I describe my listening experience, I am optimistic that music fans would find the underlying concepts engaging and want to get into the tracks straight immediately. I’m sure the album would leave a lasting effect.

Pedal to the Metal,’ the album’s first track, is an exciting and effective introduction to the album. I appreciated how the intricate, difficult thoughts were first brilliantly conveyed in the writing, and then the same notion was carried forward well in the production. The texture, which incorporates many Piano layers as well as bits of Tremolos from the guitar, creates a complex texture that serves as the track’s base. The groove also maintains a strong pulse. I enjoyed the music’s overall atmosphere, and the vocal effects really helped to create the ideal ambience for the song, which made the experience even more unforgettable. The layers’ creativity emerges as the focal point for the listeners to interact with.

The next song, ‘Rain,’ is a wonderful combination of R&B/Soul elements with techno concepts that is both exciting and fresh to listen to. The progression is the song’s heart, and that’s what makes it truly linger in listeners’ heads. Again, one factor that would truly build a connection to dive into the world of the emotions is the passionate writing. The chord sequence adds depth to the emotional rollercoaster, as does the psychedelic trance groove, which is really fantastic. The flow is excellent and will undoubtedly enhance the overall experience. Another feature that blended quite well with the song to enhance the album’s atmosphere is the voice texture.

The album comes to a close with the song ‘Wasting Time,’ which has a really appealing atmosphere. I believe the record’s final impact on us is substantial, and it will linger in our minds for a long time. The wordplay was fantastic, and I enjoyed how one basic notion could be so intriguing throughout the song. The progression’s trippy loop never seems monotonous at any time. The mood tends to build gradually, and we quickly find ourselves in the groove. The arrangements on the songs are fantastic, and I especially liked how the Piano sections were written. Furthermore, the fusion of the two genres would pique the interest of music fans. The concepts are complicated, yet they are presented in a wonderful way.
