‘Nomad’ by ADHD is an expansive alternative instrumental track that journeys on a path that is littered with sound. Every instrument serves a purpose, expanding its soundscape over synth-based loop.
The song’s nomadic soundscape is characterised by sitars and conch melodies, with a deep, subtle percussion rhythm that builds intensity.

‘Nomad’: Expansive Journeys
‘Nomad’ begins playfully, with a mysterious melody on a constant loop.It serves as the base for our song, that seems to move through various stages before landing up somewhere very different from where it started.
This playful melody acquires this sense of depth when the soundscape introduces the sitar, with its tremulous yet deep strings. Strings that feel steeped in a specific tradition. Melodies and rhythms that chime in to create this atmosphere that feels almost rejuvenating as it flows by.
‘Nomad’ also introduces this conch-like sound, signalling moments of transition before we find ourselves in mid-point spiral. This deeper spiral feels like a shift, subtle but dynamic, giving our ears and brains a moment to reorient.
All this while our sitar strings attempt to bring back the melodies from the first half, with valiant attempts to sort of elevate the track from this spiral. This while the rest of our subtle soundscape keeps us in the spiral, creating this sense of moving tension.
The song even includes orchestral strings that feel hurried for a moment before they sink back in. This giving ‘Nomad’ by ADHD a moment to breathe, losing themselves into this groovy, rhythmoc singularity. A single, all-encompassing point is what our song expands into.
