Hailing from Kent, United Kingdom, Faded Shades is an Indie Pop Rock trio. Redefining the BritPop genre with their thrilling grooves and expansive riffs, the band have a particularly unique sound. The trio cites influence from legends like Paul Weller, Oasis and The Rolling Stones which is quite evident. Faded Shades consists of Joe (singer/songwriter/guitarist), Liam (bass) and Charlie (drums). Their music is enticing, exciting and definitely refreshing to hear.
Their latest single, Waiting On Tomorrow, is an energetic track with loads of depth. The electric guitars are dynamic and keep the rhythm and melodies going strong. Meanwhile, the bass and drums play a significant part in percussion and maintaining time. Moreover, Joe’s vocals are perfect for the track. It would be amiss to leave out the fun little synth that adds some light textures to the track. The overdrive is perfectly mixed in and sounds absolutely sublime. Additionally, the song follows some interesting dynamic changes that keep things fresh.
