‘Gaza (On and on and On)’ by 50mething is a Cry Against Endless Craziness

An honest song written on the still occurring unjust in some parts of today’s world. 50mething’s latest release, ‘Gaza (On and on and On)’, is his expression of the frustration that we all feel about the futility of wars. As the song ends, 50mething writes, “Oh, I just can’t believe that the same thing is going on. Have we not evolved?” To which an answer rose up, that it’s not about evolution, but maturity. The old men in this world, diving lands, drawing borders, and fighting for more power, are just children trapped inside a grown-up’s body. To which the rest of the world should stand up against their injustice. And, Gaza (On and on and On) is 50mething standing up against this stupidity.

50mething is a social commentary musician, crafting the causes that keep him awake in the night into songs of revolution. He is a musical messenger who sheds light on the serious and crazy issues plaguing our world. 50mething is the creative alter-ego of the London-based composer, producer, singer-songwriter Paul Jenner.

Gaza (On and on and On) is a self-produced project in Jenner’s home studio. The lyrics make up the core of the song. 50mething’s voice is the grounding element, emitting the passion of the cause. And the sound has an eerie indie effect that revolves around the lyrics and the voice.
