Nic Andrea & The Verdict is LA’s “latest and greatest” rock band, known for rebooting classic rock energy with diverse modern influences — taking pride in reprising blues and classic rock with their modern, high-energy tunes, they present their latest EP, “A Night At The Wrecking Yard, Pt.2” — and from start to finish, this album is a blast to listen to.
From the bright, charming guitars on the opener, “Pray For Them” to the energy on “All You Left Of This Man”, the 5-piece album is filled with fun moments, fluent expressions of joy and emotive delivery, and instrumentation that keeps the vocalist on their toes — and for good reason! The mixes are tight, and the masters warm; and the energy of this album is what gives its secret infectious listenability.

Some standouts on “A Night At The Wrecking Yard, Pt.2” include the closer “Miserlou” reprising the 1962 Dick Dale rendition with a nice modern twist with jazzy, bluesy horns and trumpets that dot the song, and “It Will Rain Again”, for its slower, more relaxed delivery that would remind one of more back to roots, classic rock and roll — and overall, this album is a rather enjoyable listen!
