Mike Stewart Theory has a whole new approach to music. From what I can see, it sounds like having fun. The incredible artist has had some great tracks with the freshest sounding live music you can hear. He keeps that classy retro roll in it as well. This is his latest single that will have you dancing till sunrise. Get ready to Jet Set Trash.
With something that sounds like the major lead of Eric Clapton’s acoustic version of Layla, Mike Stewart Theory changes the flavour by a lot. The track is a groovy pop rock song, his vocals delayed in entry so that you can totally keep in the rhythm. He knows how to capture the swagger, keeping a steady percussion for us to take tickets back to. Mike is in full form as usual, and we’re travelling to new places after Bedford Ave. There is a soul to the song that makes it sound like a montage track, and you can almost hear the ruffling passports. The stellar master producer knows exactly how to transport a vibe from his instruments to your psyche. He does so with a certain class, experience and most importantly-the thrill of being able to do this.
Jet Set Trash is another Mike Stewart Theory track that keeps you on your toes. The virtuoso producer-musician has had some other great singles this year, Lightning in the Alley and Deep Dark Eyes being some of them. He’s also on tour right now, so check him in Amsterdam or London in January. Groove to his newest number here!:
