Michael V Doane’s ‘Let’s Go!’ : A Resplendent Rock Atmosphere

Michael V Doane is a singer-songwriter and rock artist from Oregon. The experience of listening to his music is ever evolving. You’ll spot retro influences meshed in with agents of indie, alternative, garage rock, and americana. ‘Let’s Go!’ is Michael’s latest single. After a brief hiatus, he returned to music, composing and performing with the track, ‘James Alvin (His Song)’. It showcases marvelous shifts in style and sonic charisma. This sophomore single, however, is fun, a get-going track that ups the ante and expands the momentum. It shows off the artist’s playful, spontaneous, and effortless approach to his craft.

The track is introduced with acoustic rock frames that are phenomenally pulled into a spectrum of 70s, 80s, and 90s rock. We see the performative elements of Queen, blended with the melodic rock of The Kinks and The Smiths. There’s also a touch of The Doors, Nirvana, and 30 Seconds to Mars.

Atmospheric guitars spread through the burning sky of his baritones. It is dark, passionate, seductive, and hypnotic. The guitar work especially is detailed and layered for effect all through to the climax. The electric shreds in the bridge are especially elevating and grand. Listen Now!
