Chris Maragoth bring some metal flavour with his latest single, “Bury My Remains”

Chris Maragoth is exploring metal to its depths. As a form of self-reflection and projection, the art form is something he has a close, infinite bond with. Exploring symphonic metal and bringing the soul back to the brutal riffs that he executes, there is a magic in this that seemed to be missing from mainstream for decades. This is his latest single, Bury My Remains.

In terms of the theme, Chris Maragoth chooses the grim. It is the decomposing destitution that he studies, and performs something that is lasting and powerful. His tuning, the riff and tones, and the way he treasures the attack is quite incredible and extremely potent. His doom soaked lyrics are what he delivers clean, and for the contrast a crushing growl approaches you. All through the verse section, there are harmonics that spice up the quality of the song, rather than depending on the thrash attack that makes it boring sometimes. With Bury My Remains, Chris Maragoth improves his class, his style and his approach to writing metal music. Something that lasts more than time itself, testing time.
