Having a healthy 4k plus streams, this song is slowly becoming popular because of what he has written about. Let’s suppose you’re having kind of a trash week. Are you telling me listening to this gorgeous positivity won’t help just a tiny bit at least? Then Alexander Joseph has achieved it all.
When his title track comes as the penultimate song, you’ll feel time stand still. Stop and Breathe is like that song by the fireplace near the beach that leaves you spellbound. It is creative, has some amazing ambience elements and strings as well. You’ll find it overwhelming at times, and appreciate the brilliant production by Alexander. His voice is under the spotlight for its clear and distinct notation and simple phrasing.
Closing it with Awake, you can see how well Alexander Joseph impacts you with his simplistic songwriting. It is poetry in lucid motion, for he wants you to understand the magic behind these thoughts. He is most comfortable with his stringed singing partner, and it feels like they’re a team made in heaven. At least they have brought all that angelic energy to earth.
