Neural amp modeller in a compact rechargeable stomp-box with Zoom’s new Dynamic Neural Archive technology
The Zoom NEURIG is here to become serious competition in the affordable Neural amp modelling space. With two touchscreens, four foot-switches, 200 rig memories and a body weighing 850 g, the Japanese effects processors manufacturers have delivered serious performance in their newest product.
Check out how it sounds below:
ZOOM Announces NEURIG Guitar Processor With Neural Modelling and USB Recording
The unit features the company’s new Dynamic Neural Archive (DNA) Engine, which models how amplifiers and pedals respond to control adjustments.
The NEURIG packs 30 DNA models, 22 modelling amplifiers, 22 multilayer impulse response (IR) cabinets and 139 effects. Players can store up to 200 rigs, with each supporting up to 14 processing blocks and four selectable programs. Two 2-inch touchscreens, four footswitches and flexible signal routing simplify onstage control.
Its send/return loop accommodates external pedals and amplifiers, while stereo outputs support direct connections to a PA system. Additional features include a 45-second looper, tuner, Bluetooth audio playback and a rechargeable battery rated for approximately 4.5 hours of operation.
USB-C connectivity turns the device into a 2-in/2-out audio interface for recording at 48 kHz. ZOOM has also announced SessionZ Pedal app integration, NAM compatibility and additional capture features through future software updates.
The NEURIG is scheduled to launch in Japan in early November 2026, with NAM A2 capture and SessionZ Store planned for December. Indian pricing and availability have yet to be confirmed.
Guitarists and audio enthusiasts alike are on edge for more information on the pedal. If it enters the market at a reasonable price point to become the go-to NAM loader on a budget, remains yet to be seen.
