Voyage 35 Revive Porcupine Tree Classic ‘Even Less’ for September Tour

Voyage 35 have unveiled a new reworking of the Porcupine Tree classic Even Less, offering fans another glimpse of the band’s mission to revisit and revitalise material from the group’s celebrated catalogue.

The track, originally released on Porcupine Tree’s 1999 album Stupid Dream, arrives ahead of Voyage 35’s UK and European tour in September. The project is led by former Porcupine Tree bassist Colin Edwin and longtime live guitarist John Wesley, who formed the band to perform songs that have largely disappeared from recent live setlists.

The newly released version of Even Less follows the group’s debut recording, a fresh take on The Nostalgia Factory, which first appeared on Porcupine Tree’s 1992 debut album On The Sunday Of Life. Together, the releases underline Voyage 35’s commitment to exploring a different side of the band’s history. Additionally, bringing renewed energy to familiar material.

“This is no idle thought, this is a chance to re-explore and re-immerse ourselves fully in a set of material that many people have expressed a desire to hear and see live again,” Edwin said. He added that the goal is to honour the original spirit of the music while elevating it with fresh energy, new flavours and exceptional musicianship.

Wesley echoed that enthusiasm, explaining that he deeply missed performing and welcomed the opportunity to revisit songs he cares about alongside Edwin and a talented group of musicians.

Voyage 35 recently confirmed its full touring lineup. Joining Edwin and Wesley are keyboardist Lorenzo Esposito Fornasari, known as Lef, a bandmate of Edwin’s in O.R.k., and drummer Alessandro Vagnoni, who has also worked with O.R.k.

The band will tour across the UK and Europe in September, bringing rarely performed Porcupine Tree material back to audiences eager to hear it live once again.
