K-Pop Girl Group, TWICE Makes History with 1 Million Album Sales in the US!

TWICE, the South Korean girl group, has achieved a remarkable milestone in the world of K-pop, as they reach 1 million pure album sales in the United States. They are the first girl group to achieve this milestone. This includes both physical as well as digital sales. Among other K-Pop artists that have achieved this milestone are BTS, TXT, and Stray Kids.

It’s their album “Ready To Be,” which is breaking all records as well as language barriers to secure TWICE the number one spot on Billboard’s 200 chart for the longest duration, making them the first female act to achieve this feat in the history of K-pop.

Earlier this year they also became the first Korean group to win the Breakthrough Award at the Billboard Women in Music Awards 2023. Previous winners of this award include renowned names like Idina Menzel, Tori Kelly, Maren Morris and Camila Cabello.
