Genevieve Sovereign is a singer-songwriter who was born and raised in the forested expanses of northwest Ontario, Canada. For her, making music is all about inspiring people to create in a loving and authentic manner, while also helping them to remember who they are. She was always fascinated by the different genres out there, and how they could all inspire people in different ways. Now, as an adult, Sovereign is continuing to explore different types of music and is using her own talents to create songs that she hopes will inspire others to do the same. Genevieve has now come up with a new single, “Vibration Angle,” in collaboration with Ben Tenison. The song itself is an ode to understanding and connection, and it makes you feel like your heart is being pulled out of your chest as it moves along through those gorgeous soundscape. In a relationship, it is often said that it’s not just about love, but also about understanding and communication. In the same way, music can also be seen as a form of communication. “Vibration Angle” is a tune that explores the strong emotional bond between two people in an effort to fully understand each other. The synth work at the beginning is very striking, and then the vocals come in and elevate the track to a new level. The vocals in this song are unique and powerful, and I love how they work together with the harmonies to create a really catchy and melodic song. (Special shoutout to Genevieve’s sweet-as-sugar voice.) The intricate soundscapes are enmeshed with messages that will stay with listeners long after the song is over. Genevieve has truly crafted a masterpiece with this release, and it is sure to be a favorite for many.
