TT is an American singer-songwriter whose music embodies themes of refuge, resilience, and redemption. Drawing from his personal journey overcoming a chronic kidney condition, he blends diverse influences from country, classical, and rock to create his latest single, “Let Us Breathe” — keep reading for my thoughts!
TT’s singing is an easy standout on this track, with a certain flair and energy to the vocals and the guitars in close tow, bringing a boost of energy to your day — and from the very start of the track, you have the drumming to keep you company, and your spirits energized; as the guitars gently introduce themselves, the riffage they settle into is ethereal, calming, all while retaining a punch of energy that lays the perfect foundation for TT’s singing. As we start to enter the chorus section, the vocal layers come together to create a tight, lush sound, bringing whole new dimensionality to the track. The basses are also present fair and square, laying down the bedrock for the melodies and the motifs that we’re brought on “Let Us Breathe” — and as the song comes to a gentle close, we’re left hankering for the repeat button.

The structure of the track has a part to play in the magic that unfolds — seamlessly going from high to mellow, “Let Us Breathe” doesn’t forget the quieter parts of a track are just as musical, and that’s worth the appreciation alone; and when the solo takes over, it’s just that on the main stage, freeing up the atmosphere for you to wonder — all while you have a tasteful solo to keep you company.
All in all, “Let Us Breathe” is an amalgamation of influences that all come beautifully together to create a track that’s fulfilling, heartwarming, and elevating to listen to. Take a listen to the track here!
