Patricio Anabalon’s ‘La Noche Que Nunca Llega’ Explores Chilean Classical Folk, Old-School Style

Chilean composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer, Patricio Anabalon has a beautiful way of weaving home grown sentiments into creative and classical compositions. In ways that evoke intimate feelings and aching nostalgia, he curates the listening experience to narrate frames from home, of simpler times and deeper emotions. His latest release is ‘La Noche Que Nunca Llega’, aka ‘The Night That Never Comes’ features the singer-songwriter and fellow artist Giorgis Christodoulou. With a classical style that is vintage and authentic, with a touch of old-school whimsy and romanticism, the artists explore heartache and melancholy.

The emotion is tailored intricately into the instrumentation and the vocal chemistry. It flows through the atmosphere like a summer breeze that carries the smells of the season. There’s that Italian acoustical charm, blended into regional folk with melodic flute arcs, and encompassed by bluesy accents. To experience the expressive baritones against this gentle swinging and detailed backdrop is like watching a black and white moving picture. And even if you don’t understand the language, the artist leaves you with a wealth of sentiments that will eventually lead you to the theme. Listen Now!
