Alternative rock band Green Day will be joining forces with the Smashing Pumpkins for a North American tour next year. This was announced during Green Day’s secret concert in Las Vegas. The band made the announcement at the concert where they played songs from their discography while celebrating the 30th anniversary of their iconic album Dookie.

Frontman, guitarist and vocalist of Green Day Billie Joe Armstrong announced, “We’re gonna do a big tour next year. It’s gonna be Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, The Linda Lindas”.
This also comes after The Smashing Pumpkins, released Atum and went on a tour with Interpol and Stone Temple Pilots earlier this year.
Green Day debuted their new single “The American Dream Is Killing Me” live which they also performed during their headline set at the When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas. This track has now been officially released on October 24 alongside a zombie-themed music video with socio-political undertones.
The pop punk icons have announced their upcoming album titled ‘Saviors‘, which is set to be released on January 24. This will be their 14th studio album and their first full-length release since 2020’s ‘Father Of All Motherf*s’.
