La’ Monte’s new release “Welcome to the Heartbreak” is a perfect retro treat

La’ Monte is a singer and songwriter known for his excellent musical flairs that he uses not only for singing but also for songwriting as well. His music is a perfect blend of retro and contemporary elements and that’s what gives his music a fresh, unique appeal.

This time he has released a refreshing retro, upbeat pop number called “Welcome to the Heartbreak” which is, as the name suggests, about heartbreak. But that’s only a very small part of it! What the song largely consists of, is some dramatic, fancy soundscapes that will make you wanna romanticize this somber emotion and state and you will eventually be inspired in more than one way.

The song follows a delicate, not-so-catchy tune that will grow on you once you listen to the song numerous times. Richly laden with some complex soundscapes, the song will make you feel nostalgic, happy, blue, and charged up, all at once. But that’s really what to expect when your ears are treated with something fresh and levitating.

Excellent vocals add an extra layer of goodness to the track and they will literally make you sway and sing along as freely and liberatingly as La’ Monte. The slight retro additions here and there gives it a tasteful punch and adds to the whole amazing vibe of it.

It is safe to say that it is one of the coolest heartbreak songs that will add a little oomph to your day.
