‘Let Me Shake You’ by Groove Moose is a Rock Track that Offers Comfort, Calm & Empowerment Through its Groovy, Acoustic Rhythms

Let Me Shake You’ by Groove Moose is a nearly 7-minute long rhythmic rock track that’s all calm comfort. Its acoustic guitars and groovy percussion build an atmosphere that feels subdued, calm and pretty warm. Our narrator is trying to cheer up someone who seems down, while the soundscape attempts to shake up the mood to distract and deflect.

‘Let Me Shake You’: Calm Comfort & Empowerment

‘Let Me Shake You’ begins with a groovy acoustic guitar, that saddles the listener in for a calm, rhythmic ride. This is before the lead guitar and percussion rock in, building on that groove with melodies that seem to shake the rhythm all over.

Our narrator immediately attempts to empathise with the person they want to cheer up. “…Heard you’re feeling tired of dealing and I’m sure you have your reasons…’. They follow this up with a promise to keep the energy flowing, something that comes through in the song’s soundscape and mood.

‘Let Me Shake You’ promises to be a good time, punctuated by rhythmic guitar solos and light, bright lines that lend to the track’s feel-good vibe. “…Let me shake you, heard you were feeling down…Let me wake you up and lift you off of the ground…”. They promise a good time while settling into something uplifting and empowering.

“…Don’t lose yourself to temporary notion(s)…

…You can stand up on your own time…”.

‘Let Me Shake You’ by Groove Moose ends its seemingly short 7-minute run with a 2-minute acoustic guitar solo. This rhythmic solo guides us through calm waves of emotion that rise and fall, keeping us afloat and engaged throughout the last of this calm, empowering track.

Its rhythms are moving, grooving and feel-good. All this keeping us on our toes and on the move.
