Guerilla State – Night in the Wild | Autonomy

This year has been a busy one for duo Guerilla State, who offer a fresh form of expression through their energetic rock songs. Out with an EP and a few singles in 2021, the group is back with a fiery track titled, ‘Night in the Wild’. With a little over five minutes of moving melodies and lively guitar performances, the group has shared a story that explores the events of a non-autonomous society through expressive lyricism and emotive vocals.

The two artists hail from Ireland and Australia and offer a global perspective on official affairs and failings in an era of misinformation. ‘Night in the Wild’ begins with upbeat, hard-hitting drums that act as a bedrock for the wide, distorted guitars throughout the track. Throughout this passionate composition, their strong vocals portray emotions of self-sufficiency and independence. – “Across the battlefield as the bullets fly, we’re one step closer to heaven tonight / We’re not going down that easily / This is our moment, be all you can be.”

In the spirit of rock music from the 80s and 90s, this track has a chorus that will be sure to elicit chants from the crowd at a jam-packed concert! This song’s two-part harmonies add depth to the vocals, enriching the sound and making it more enjoyable to listen to. Additionally, the track features a powerful guitar lead that fits in nicely before the energetic final chorus. An outstanding composition that will keep the listener engaged to the very end!
