Imagine melodic and dreamy moments of Clairo marked with lofi beats and modern elements. In ‘Cloud10’, we see a soft flow, so plush and magical. Her vocals are fluid honey, candied with sentiments and sensitivity. There’s a lot of nostalgia, youth and a fondness that you readily fall in love with.
There’s a lot of nuance and versatility in her style. You can journey through them with these tracks. In the title track, we see a lot of disjointed and experimental elements. Rhythmic orientations that transform the theme and the sound. However, in ‘Chase the Sadness’ and ‘Another Life’ we see a more dynamic and colorful atmosphere with dance.
‘Information Overload’ is also dynamic but it has a more contemplative and intimate air. From which a deep connection ensues. It sets the mood for ‘Skydive’, a beautiful piece that is ambient, luminous, and full of trippy patterns. It is cerebral and keeps you within it.
