Speak Easy Circus – Sewn up | Cheery

Speak Easy Circus,” an experimental indie/funk gang from East End of Glasgow, has released their new song “Sewn up,” which is actually a fantastic offering. The album has great musical performances and improvisations that keep you engrossed until the very last roll. Speak Easy Circus is comprised of four outstanding musicians: Jack Avison (guitar/vocals/keys), Jon Wallace (sax/keys), Frazer Laurie (drums), and Chatonda Ridley (bass). The band sounded fantastic, and the joyous connection shines through in this upbeat tune. There’s a lot of fun and other feel-good qualities in the mood. The album’s coherent nature shines through since it was meticulously produced, resulting in a stunning sounding track.

The arrangement is essentially built on an enthusiastic and joyful Saxophone riff. The guitar and saxophone sections blend well and provide such powerful impactful hits at regular intervals. The drum performance binds all of the instruments together and keeps the melody moving forward. The transitional rolls certainly make a noticeable difference. The performance has a lot of dynamism, which truly helps you connect and pulls your attention to listen to each segment carefully. I am convinced that the song’s fun and upbeat attitude will appeal to a wide spectrum of listeners and instil a positive spirit in them as they enjoy it.
