FUHR – Words | Uplifting

If you enjoy uplifting electronic dance music, then give a listen to the tunes of Stockholm-based artist, FUHR. Fusing melodic pop-rock elements in his own signature style, FUHR crafts a sound that is pleasing to the ear and easy to dance to. He’s been releasing music since early 2020, and is known best for his releases “Would You” and “Cowboy”.

“Words” begins with an acoustic and electric guitar melody that introduces FUHR’s rock-reminiscent vocals. His versatile singing style throughout the song, including flawless high register delivery and expressive dynamics, are best highlighted on this track. With lively, feel-good lyrics, the track is bound to get you smiling and up on your feet. Fuhr sings passionately about holding on to love and hoping the cherished feelings last as long as possible. – “Would you remember love if I showed it in a different way, You don’t seem to understand, but my thoughts of you blossom everyday / Don’t leave, don’t leave our love, let me love you a little more..”.

Four-on-the-floor drums are the main rhythm driving factor in electronic music, and FUHR has done a fantastic job combining acoustic instruments with hard-hitting beats on this track. Additionally, harmonies add a level of richness to the vocals, resulting in a fuller sound. As the track progresses, a dynamic bridge section makes room for the final chorus that, hits excellently with a lot of energy! A fantastic ending to this upbeat track!

Having released a few singles for about two years now, FUHR has been making moves in the melodic EDM scene and has gained a decent fan following. He also shares acoustic versions of his own songs and has some funny videos up on his IG as well. His fun-loving personality translates into his music, and that is what makes listening to him so enjoyable!

Get set to stream his new EP releasing on 11/11 if you’re eager to hear more.
