Touch the Cloud – Be Patient | Biding Time

Detroit, Michigan indie rock band Touch the Cloud has come up with a groovy new song Be Patient. The third single from the upcoming 15-song LP, Be Patient is a song about existing in human time. Touch the Cloud consists of vocalist/guitarist Joe Philips, drummer Brian Galindo, bassist Nicole Margosian-Galindo, Darrun Hunt on guitars/tech, and Adam Cox on vibraphones.

Be Patient begins with a steady snare beat and a guitar riff hook as the vocals glide on. The vocals with their good amount of reverb give the song an indie edgy feel. As the song proceeds to the chorus, the arrangement catches up with some sweet intricate drums and pulsating bass. The vocals and the song overall then give a celebratory feel. We get some simple but apt guitar phrases acting as a bridge when the final chorus comes in. While the future is predicted to be difficult, with optimism, one can tackle its uncertainties. Touch the Cloud crafts a fine indie rock song with power and emotional depth.

One should stop gazing at life from the outside and instead truly live in it at the moment. As one moves in life from the base and summit of life’s mountain hike as one could imagine it, we mustn’t sweat the trivial pointless things. Do not run behind fifteen minutes of fame and resist the urge to indulge in worldly pursuits. Then you’ll go home content. The production and arrangement ensure that the core melodies and rhythm section are served. The tonal character of the song is organic and tweedish. Be Patient by Touch the Cloud is a reminder that good things take time and not to be overwhelmed by the apparently dizzying illusion of happenings.
