“Burn EP”, by Bullitz 23: An explosion of great rock music!

Bullitz 23 are a rock outfit that’s bringing their latest EP, “Burn” — a fiesta of feel-good punk rock, with a twist of gold old rock and roll — keep reading for my thoughts!

The 3-piece EP, with its a-whisker-above-eight-minutes runtime may lead you astray — but be not fooled, every but of this EP bleeds energy. From the first track, the title track, we’re treated to a delightfully uptempo rock sound that does not once fade in energy for its four minute runtime. The guitars are present and loud, the basses hold the rhythm well, and the drumming wraps things up beautifully.

Segueing to the second track, “Karma” continues on the high adrenaline train, this time affording focus to the vocals — the half-sung, half-growled style fitting excellently well into the sound of the EP. As we move towards the end of “Burn”, we’re faced with “Still Not Dead”, which, with its older rock style, tops things off quite elegantly.

All throughout the “Burn” EP, we’re treated to solid production, an infectious collection of melodies and great arrangements  — which is sure to keep your hair standing on end while you enjoy every single second of what this EP has to offer. Bravo, Bullitz 23!
