Inoria’s unabashed creativity and willingness to experiment with their craft are what make them one of the most authentic rock bands out there, and ‘Reunite’ is a beautiful testament to this. We interviewed Inoria on the release of their single, here’s what they have to say!

1. What was your inspiration behind creating the intrinsically unique track Reunite?

Reunite is rooted in the story of Adam and his search for meaning—the “why” behind his fall to earth. It’s our attempt to wrestle with one of humanity’s oldest questions: why are we here? For us, the answer lies in striving to rise higher than where we began. The song reflects that journey—fall, struggle, and ultimately growth.

2. Tell us about your recent 2D album. What would you tell someone who’s stepping into your musical world for the first time?

Sisyphean Dream is our first album, a collection of singles we’ve created since 2022. Each track carries its own personality, from heavy classic metal riffs to more delicate progressive ballads. For new listeners, it’s like stepping into a musical landscape where no two paths are exactly the same—you get a taste of everything we love about rock and metal.

3. How has your musical journey been so far? Has it been a smooth sail or one filled with challenges?

It’s been a road of challenges—but rewarding ones. Being a musician is a blessing and a burden at the same time. Balancing life outside the studio with the demands of a serious project is tough. We started out mixing tracks ourselves with no real experience and playing tiny bar shows. Today, we’re working with skilled producers and playing nice venues. Every step—big or small—has been a lesson. We’re proud of the progress, but also aware thejourney is far from over.

4. What inspires you the most as artists? Do you draw inspiration from spontaneous life events? Or are your creations methodically planned out?

Most of our inspiration comes from wonder—the wonder of existence, meaning, purpose, and the struggles that shape us. Writing is a way to turn our inner battles into music. It’s less about sitting down with a strict plan and more about letting those reflections and emotions take form through sound. In a way, it’s our meditation.

5. Tell us a little about your motto as an artist. Do you believe in art for art’s sake? Or is yours more like a spontaneous outlet of emotions?

We don’t follow a strict motto, but we often return to the idea: “It’s the sacrifice we make.” To achieve something meaningful in music, we’ve had to sacrifice time and other valuable parts of life. That sacrifice isn’t always easy, but it’s part of what makes the art real for us.

6. What’s your most cherished piece from your discography and why?

So far, Purify holds a special place. It’s straightforward—direct, catchy, a classic 4/4—and people instantly connect with it. Sometimes we pour ourselves into intricate, progressive compositions, but it’s funny how often the simple songs hit the hardest. That balance between complexity and simplicity is something we enjoy carrying into our live sets.

7. Reunite sounds both mystical and uplifting. Where do you draw inspiration from when creating your unique alternative rock tracks?

Reunite is actually the continuation of a story. It follows Whispers of Fall—an unreleased song that tells the tale of Adam’s fall, his anger and grief after being cast out of Eden. Reunite picks up with him finding meaning in that fall, and ultimately ascending. While it draws on biblical imagery, it isn’t about religion itself; it’s an allegory for humanity’s eternal search for meaning and purpose.

8. What can your fans look forward to? What’s in store for them? Tell us a little about your plans for future releases.

We’re currently preparing our second album, which we’ll be releasing piece by piece as singles in the coming months. Fans can expect variety, fresh energy, and hopefully some songs that resonate deeply with them. Our goal is to create music that not only entertains but also makes people reflect, just as it does for us.
