Gollnir is an Icelandic band whose name is derived from an Icelandic word that literally means “noisy one”. As the name suggests, Gollnir is all about upbeat, party music. When you step into the world of Gollnir, you will notice how it is super refreshing and at the same time offers exactly what it is supposed to; a little pump.
Gollnir’s recent release is ‘Party song’. A refreshing, not completely over the top dance floor number that dissolves its magic slowly but surely into the air around you and makes you want to surrender to it. The song is not completely over the top upbeat. It build up slowly and more or less, it maintains the same energy throughout. What definitely uplifts the charm of the song even more is the backing vocals that add an extra layer of fun and mirth and that in turn serves you well on the dance floor. This is a song that features a lot of good beats, subtle pace, and soundscapes that have an enveloping effect on its listeners.
