Doctor Black prescribe some hard rock medication with their latest, “Rope”

If you want rock the right way, then Doctor Black is your way to go. Founded by Rob Rees-the band is symbolism of what rock has been and what it should be. Charging guitars, pummelling drums and a soul that never dies lays the foundation of this rock front. Their latest single will remind you of radio rock, except you get to put this on loop. This one is called Rope

Rock for the spirit

From the opening guttural chug, you know you have to be prepared. The rock track from Doctor Black never cuts any slack-and is taut on the rhythm section for sure. When the riff drops, you know you’re in for a hard rock treat that borders on metal mania. Vocals deliver through that nostalgic filter, while the chorus might remind you of Sum 41 years. This is rock that feels like a gift. Not ironed out, corporate shirt crisp rock-but crushed, bleached and wrung out rock the way it is supposed to be represented.

The tonal shifts within the song will surprise you. The monotony is obliterated through aspects of instrumentality that will leave no doubts: Doctor Black is here to revive something lost–and they have the Lazarus spirit. The Drag Me Down and Fungus band have something of a knives edge in how they compose-every song has been a highlight of skill and substance.
