Oasis fans have spent the weekend asking: “Is definitely, or is it maybe?” Well, wonder no more. On Tuesday, the Gallagher brothers put an end to all the speculation and delivered the news we’ve been waiting for since the infamous 2009 backstage brawl: it’s definite, folks!

What are the Fans Saying?

Liam and Noel Gallagher announced a series of reunion gigs set to rock the summer of 2025. The tour kicks off in Cardiff, moves to Manchester, then heads to London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. Burnage, the brothers’ old stomping ground, is buzzing. “They’re a big part of my life growing up,” said one local, proudly sporting her Oasis tattoo. Another added, “You can’t put a price on a band such as Oasis, can you?”

Celebrities’ Comments on the Reunion

The internet? It’s having a field day. One X user hilariously dubbed the reunion the “Eras tour for people who can’t stand up without their knees sounding like an elephant walking on bubble wrap.” Another suggested Blur should drop comeback dates on the same days, just for that classic ’90s rivalry vibe.

Celebs are weighing in, too. Tom Grennan called it “massive.” Jamie Laing? Just a simple “Yikes.” And Stan Collymore reminded us all why Oasis were “part of what reinvented British cool” in the ’90s.

The big question now: Can the Gallagher brothers keep it together long enough to make it to the stage? Well, Helen Brown of The Independent mused, “Maybe money is an incentive here.”

Whatever the reason, the “guns have fallen silent” and the stars have indeed aligned.

Mark your calendars, Oasis fans—this isn’t just a concert; it’s the comeback of the century.

Their only shows in Europe next year, this will be one of the biggest live moments and hottest tickets of the decade.

Over the weekend, a report surfaced suggesting that the iconic Britpop band could be planning massive shows in Manchester and London, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Definitely Maybe.

The speculation reached fever pitch, thanks in part to a recent interview where Noel Gallagher praised his brother’s distinct vocal style. Noel compared Liam’s voice to “10 shots of tequila on a Friday night,” while likening his own to “half a Guinness.”

Liam, known for his playful banter, has been responding to fans’ questions about the rumored reunion on social media. When one fan asked if the rumors were true, Liam quipped, “Honest to me I’ve not heard a peep.”

Today morning the band announced the dates, while advising fans to register with respective ticketing agencies in advance.
