Behemoth Sets Foot in India With ‘Chant of the Eastern Lands’ Tour

Polish metal band Behemoth is all set to make a comeback to India after almost a decade. The group announced that they will perform in Bangalore on March 3, 2026, as part of their “Chant of the Eastern Lands” world tour. The concert is going to take place at Phoenix Marketcity, and tickets are going to go on sale on October 20, 2025.

A Big Moment for Metal Fans in India

For Indian metal fans, this show is more than just a concert because it is the return of one of the biggest names in extreme metal. Behemoth performed in India back in the year 2016 at Deccan Rock, HYD, and their return has already created a wave of excitement online. BLR, a city in India known for its strong music scene, is once again going to host a band that helped shape modern black metal and death metal music.

Formed in 1991 by frontman Adam “Nergal” Darski, Behemoth started as an underground act in Poland and became a name known for dark sound, bold lyrics, and powerful stage presence. Their albums like “The Satanist” and “I Loved You at Your Darkest” are the ones for which they have earned international praise and a truly loyal fan following. Their live shows are best known for being extremely theatrical and intense, and also filled with dramatic visuals, heavy riffs, and raw emotions.

The “Chant of the Eastern Lands” tour includes stops across Europe, Australia, and Asia, and the India leg marks a special milestone for both the band and its fans here. For many, this concert is not just a performance, but the long-awaited return of Behemoth to Indian soil.
