Tailgate festival is returning to Queensland, Burleigh Heads for its third edition, in 2023. Taking place at Burleigh Bazaar on Saturday, 3rd June, the lineup includes renowned acts such as Caitlin Harnett, Mini Skirt, and Battlesnake. Tailgate Festival first made its mark in 2021, with a lineup that included Concrete Surfers, Pure Milk, and Perve Endings, among others. It returned the following year with Bad//Dreems headlining alongside Private Function, Johnny Hunter, and Full Flower Moon Band.
A Diverse Lineup and Festive Atmosphere Awaits at Tailgate Festival 2023!
Leading the lineup in 2023 is Mini Skirt, hailing from Byron Bay. Joining them is country singer Caitlin Harnett, and her band, the Pony Boys. Additionally, Sydney’s theatrical prog metal band, Battlesnake will also be taking the stage.
In addition to these headliners, Tailgate Festival 2023 is set to feature a lineup of supporting acts like Sex Drive, Trapdoor, Cakes, Dead Witch and Rinser. The festival will also offer a variety of stalls like Badlands Vinyl, vintage second hand goodies, local artists, food trucks and more to create a vibrant atmosphere.

Caitlin Harnett & the Pony Boys and Battlesnake Latest Released Singles!
Caitlin Harnett & the Pony Boys, released their first single after 2020 “Even Cowgirls Cry,” earlier this month. Their album is also set to arrive later this year via Spunk Records.
Battlesnake, has wrapped up their Australian tour as part of the Smashing Pumpkins‘ The World Is a Vampire festival. They have released a series of singles since the past one year including ‘I Am the Vomit,’ ‘Demon Farm,’ in 2022 and ‘BeelzeBanquet,’ and ‘The Battlesnake’ this year.
