‘Hold on’ by Singer-songwriter Tahani Breathes Life into the Void of Aloneness

In a world where many soft souls are going through the most hardest experiences, Tahani’s latest release ‘Hold on’ sings hope. Tahani’s voice has a dreamy, angelic, balm-like effect on the ears as she sings to all the lonely hearts. ‘Hold on’ is a song that fills with compassion and strength. Traversing through the invisible realms to those who are in need of the same. The song is a crossover of genres that begins as soft emo-pop and gradually transitions into pop-rock as the lyrics become more pensive.

Lyrically, ‘Hold on’ is an intense poem that captures the raw emotions one feels when life hits a low point. I will also call it a saviour song. One that you need when passing through the mental chaos and experiencing the void it leaves behind. “A void will be left behind if you choose to end the fight. You’re love is needed in this world to turn darkness into light.” The lines fill the vacuum with the light of hope. Language has such a beautiful way to convey messages. Where ‘light’ means not only brightness but also the feeling of being unburdened.

Tahani herself has gone through serious hardships in life, which have driven her to create remarkable music that deeply resonates with many. Just like intense pressure forms diamonds, Tahani’s journey inspires the core of her art. From being a teenage mother to working as a midwife, and now navigating life as a disabled, neurodivergent, queer musician, she has been through much. Listen to ‘Hold on’ by Tahani, now streaming on all platforms.
