With “Band Off The Gram”, I start with this; Music is a form of art, and all art deserves appreciation. When this particular single popped onto my computer, it reminded me of the fact that it takes a tangible amount of courage to open oneself up for judgement, harsh critique, and all that comes associated with putting your work out there for the world around you to see.
Heather Jane Prescott, aka Only1SweetZz is a songwriter, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist chasing a spot in the music industry to become well-recognized, respected, and successful. Her music has elements of different genres ranging from pop, jazz, R&B, deep dark indie, country, folk, bluegrass, and house music. She’s a multidimensional artist looking to capture a wide range of audiences all over the world. Her sole aim for making music is to connect with people’s souls globally while giving them captivating performances and immersive experiences.
On BAND OFF OF THE GRAM-Heather Jane Prescott, this theme continues- with the integration of various sounds and genre-specific styles. The execution, while it frankly has a ways to go, putting one’s work out there is in itself a start. There are still interesting aspects to the song, and I expect Heather’s work to organically evolve over the years, and I’m sure excited for it.
