JASMINEGOLD is a Hip-Hop and Alternative duo based in Florida, USA. The two artists behind the project are David Nights and Kj. The duo has described their music as the punch of modern rap songs infused with elements of Future Alternative. While they have only released two tracks as of now, JASMINEGOLD has definitely been working for quality over quantity.
Their latest release, Conscious is a groovy 2-minute long track. The beat is a headbanger for sure. The percussive elements are deep, heavy and, as a whole, quite the foot-tapper. There is a vocal sample that reminds me of 21 Savage’s A Lot that definitely hits the spot. Conscious is the kind of track that you would probably play while you’re just chilling with your friends. Believe me, if you played this on the aux, everybody will want to know what song is playing because they will all be jamming to it. Additionally, the vocal work on this track is simple, yet the bars are hard. I can really see how JASMINEGOLD incorporates the Alternative elements into Hip-Hop and it works extremely well! Conscious is an absolutely fire track that hypes itself up
This duo has so much to offer and while they only have two songs out now, I can’t wait to hear their next releases. If you want a taste of something new and absolutely killer, this is the group for you.
