Allegra is a dance-pop star who has already made a significant catalogue of music since she started. With tracks like Used to Miss You & All About Us, she rose in fame-channeling a new energy in her music with recognition and appreciation. This is Majestic’s remix of her popular track, If You Wanna Love Me.
The original track was a funk inspired tune with Allegra’s powerful voice demanding our conscious selves. Majestic’s reinterpretation of the same is a dance heavy number, with powerful booming bass. It has the 90’s disco vibe and rhythm to it, though Allegra’s voice hasn’t been tinkered with. This allows the original emotiveness of the track to still flow through, yet make it a club regular.
Synth swells in between verses are Majestic’s little flourishes that create anticipation. There seems to be a faint instrumental mirroring Allegra’s voice, which is a nice touch to the already compelling track. The techno harmonics for the chorus make it Majestic’s signature. The breakdown at the 2 minute mark is also something unique and expected, though the effects make it something inspiring to listen to at length.
