Since March 2024, Buster has been delighting fans with his “Bustified” covers on Instagram, quickly building a dedicated following. His unique approach and engaging personality have led fans to eagerly request full versions of his covers, showcasing his growing influence in the digital music scene. By pushing the limits of what it means to be a modern artist, Buster’s creative fusion of technology and talent never fails to draw in audiences.

After the successful release of Bustified, Vol. 1 (Covers), he is back with Bustified, Vol. 2(Cover.) EP featuring seven songs.  Bustified, Vol. 2 opens strong with a fresh take on “Man In The Mirror.” This cover transforms the classic into something new while keeping its essence – those playful synths and teasing riffs create an instantly uplifting atmosphere. The vocal work is particularly effective, striking that perfect balance between laid-back and engaging. It’s the kind of track that can shift your mood to carefree within seconds, making it a perfect mood-lifter.

The reimagining of “Espresso” is a clever surprise. Taking this well-known earworm and giving it male vocals changes the perspective while maintaining the song’s infectious energy. But it’s the unexpected afrobeat twist that really makes this cover stand out – it’s a bold choice that pays off, proving that familiar songs can still surprise when approached with creativity and vision.

The Motown transformation of “Girls Like You” is brilliant – it’s as if the song was always meant to have that style. Those classic “oohs” and “aahs” add authentic retro flavor, while the bouncy rhythm gives the track new life. It’s a perfect example of how changing a song’s genre can reveal new dimensions in familiar material.

The 80s reimagining of “Watermelon Sugar” is equally inspired. Taking Harry Styles’ modern hit and dressing it in full 80s production – complete with period-appropriate synths and groove – creates something both nostalgic and fresh. The arrangement really leans into the era’s sound palette, making it feel like a lost track from that decade rather than just a modern song with retro touches.

The reimagining of “As Long As You Love Me” shows real creativity in how it transforms the Backstreet Boys classic. Taking this well-known pop ballad and injecting it with funk gives it a completely different energy. The groovy treatment makes it impossible not to move, turning what was originally a heartfelt slow song into something that belongs on the dance floor.

The addition of ambient chorus elements in the background is particularly clever – it adds depth and atmosphere while nodding to the original’s vocal harmonies in a new way. This kind of thoughtful production choice shows understanding of both the source material and how to reinvent it.
