Indian Nu-Metal Giants Bloodywood Collaborates with Babymetal for new Single “Bekhauf”

If you are a fan of modern metal, then you would definitely would want to hear this! India’s Bloodywood and Japan’s BABYMETAL have joined hands as they collaborate on the scintillating song ‘Bekhauf’ which translates to ‘Fearless’ in Hindi. In hindsight, this is a perfect amalgamation of the signature sound of Bloodywood’s nu-metal and BABYMETAL’s iconic pop-metal style. With the perfect desi tadka of Indian folk, ‘Bekhauf’ is an anthem that goes beyond borders and language.

‘Bekhauf’ highlights searing riffs, walls of distortion, and stunning vocal performances in English, Hindi, and Japanese. BABYMETAL’s first time singing in Hindi the song brings out the best of both worlds, a sensational standout in the ever-evolving global metal scene.

Bloodywood speaks about the theme of the track and why it is significant:

‘Bekhauf’ means ‘fearless’ in Hindi. It was born out of the realization that fear can be seen as a choice, and that choice is our own. It’s about using this knowledge to take control of our fears and eliminate the side of them that holds us back.”

The song also marks Bloodywood’s first-ever collaboration, and the band couldn’t be more thrilled to have teamed up with BABYMETAL:

“We have been waiting for the right artists to collaborate with, and when the opportunity of the BABYMETAL collab came along, we knew it was time. We were all fans of their music but were still surprised by the level of synergy we managed to achieve on the track.”

“This is a piece of Asian metal history; we’re proud to share it with the world.”
