Intergalactic C slows down the tempo with some lo-fi jazz in the self-evident album, “Jazzy LoFi”

Intergalactic C is here to freshen your playlist up. Gone are the days you were forced to listen to radio songs that were overcooked. Here, you get to listen to music that can really inspire and change your mood. With his latest album, this composer does precisely that. This is his latest album, Jazzy LoFi.

I’ve always loved the infusion of lo-fi into various genres. Real masters like Intergalactic C can really impact the way you recede into your break time. If he is taking you to another planet with his music, this spacecraft is the invitation. Lofi Signs opens up that soothing lavender scented room to you, with the dim lights. You can almost feel your pulse reduce, inspired by his the beautiful, relaxed beats and chords. He doesn’t rush any of the songs, like there would be instances in traditional jazz. Breaking from the shell is something he often does, like in Red Roses For You.

Intergalactic C composes some silken music

The bassline dominates the tempo, but there is copious space created for percussive experimentation. The vocals are minced through several effects, for you to bob your head along to. More emotional experimentations exist as well, with My Body in Your Hand. The resonance is like a haze, and then comes the scrumptious bass line. Just that and the chords would be enough, but Intergalactic C brings a tonally perfect guitar solo as well.

My favourite comes with Blue Summer, just the way the drama unfolds. The melody is something I got instantly attracted to, while dissipating as a part of the lung space. Though the texture is minimal in the beginning, there is a decent lot to sift through eventually, which makes it all the more rewarding. Intergalactic C gives us some of the best instrumental effects of his career with LoFi Dreams. The bends are a part of the process, and give that Gilmour goodness to the track. Percussions are also unorthodox, making for a looping pattern you’d feel like jamming along to.

The textures turn intense

Study actual bass design work from this musician in Supa Chilla. The production is out of the world, creating a ripple effect that resonates all through the song. It balances out the hollows, the lower frequencies, with some memorable melodies. Another groovy number is Burner Sleep, where he’s gone all out to get people on the dance floor. It is a very catchy and joyous track, compared to some numbers that exist within a more meditative plane.

You can explore his different palettes with Deep House Brazil as well. He spreads his fan of inspiration out to many places and genres. Musicians like this inspire to create something that goes beyond effects and styles. It inspires the mood and feel of the listener, and that’s where Intergalactic C holds the game. Self professed metalhead, moderately well read. If the music has soul, it's whole to me. The fact that my bio could have ended on a rhyme and doesn't should tell you a lot about my personality.
