Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2024 – A Night Full of Stars and Memories

For almost four decades now, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame continues to hold on to the tradition of bringing together the greatest stars of all time and inviting them to join some of the most legendary performers in the world. On Saturday, the night of 19th October 2024, this tradition continued again with the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.

The live audience at the venue and those watching the live streaming of the event on Disney+, got to witness the class of 2024. The names that were a part of the Hall’s roster in the Performers’ Category are Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Matthews Band, Kool & The Gang, A Tribe Called Quest, Peter Frampton, Cher, Foreigner, and Mary J. Blige. Besides that, the winners of the Musical Excellence Award include Jimmy Buffet, MC5, Dionne Warwick, and Norman Whitefield, along with Alexis Korner, John Mayall, and Big Mama Thornton as the receivers of the Musical Influence Award. Finally, Suzanne De Passe is the winner of the Ahmet Ertegun Award for this year.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction acceptance speech of the Dave Matthews Band!

If you think it ends right there, you’re wrong because the next inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s legendary Class of 2024 is the Dave Matthews Band. After the induction, a speech by actor Julia Roberts, the frontman of the Dave Matthews Band, took the microphone to deliver a speech alongside his bandmates involving a walk down memory lane right to the inception of the band and immense gratitude to both current as well as ex-members as well as the fans and their efforts for this highly respectable honour of receiving the very special Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction.
