JUNK is a band that fuses All GENRES into Jazz/Funk music creating a unique sound that will surely flip your mind off! The band is the brainchild of Dirty D, a saxophone enthusiast who has created his name with his hip-hop jazz jams, and Dubl A the Bass master and music theory genius of the band. Most of their tracks are inspired by the search for private truth, love, and the pursuit of a life fully lived, all while making as much great music as possible. After playing in underground clubs for years, In 2020 during the height of the pandemic, the two bandmates, Bassist and Music theorist Aaron ‘Dubl A’, from Long Island NY, and Saxophonist Dale ‘Dirty D’, from San Diego CA hit the studio to create a masterpiece that will surely be passed on for ages.
recently came across this amazing band through their latest release which is named ‘They Call Me Old Man’ that packs some intricate melodies and deep lyrics. The track is surely something that will light a spark in your heart to work harder on anything you love and cherish. The way the track is structured and carried is surely immersive. Do give this amazing track a go if you love to listen to some amazing music that is full of innovations. The band has surely found its unique sound and has also found a way to recreate some complex vibes through its music. The production and instrumentation are truly infectious and the vocals complement the whole track really well.
