Carter Fox – Cosmic Sunrise (LIVE at Everloft Studios)

The live rendition of Cosmic Sunrise by Philly producer and bassist Carter Fox featuring Steve Honz on keys/synths is a magical journey. The song is slightly more than four minutes long but leaves you mesmerized at its end. Carter has been making music since age fifteen being an active musician in the Philly live scene. From there he grew to perform live with R&B and Soul legends like Jeffrey Osborne, Patti LaBelle, and the Isley Brothers. Carter’s musical genius has landed him from pub gigs to stadiums, theatres, and arenas the world over.

The song begins with some ethereal sounding synth keys followed by light keys and a rounded bass line. With some eclectic playing by Steve Honz, Carter Fox keeps weaving his seamless magic with his five-string bass. This is a serene and almost joyful meditative instrumental number with a starry feel. This is a downtempo chill-hop track that fuses experimental jazz with cosmic themes.

With its smooth, laid-back beats and ethereal melodies, Cosmic Sunrise is the perfect soundtrack for relaxation and introspection. As the sun rises over the horizon, the song’s soothing rhythms and celestial sounds transport the listener to a place of peace and wonder, inviting them to contemplate the vastness of space and the infinite possibilities it holds.

This live performance was recorded at Everloft Studios in Skippack, near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This will be followed by a release of a new live version of Fox’s ‘Spring Wind’ from his Astronoical album next month, coinciding with the Lunar Year. Carter Fox will sure blow our minds away with his fine music.
