Singer-songwriter S J Denney first discovered vinyl records of Neil Young’s “Harvest” and The Beatles’ “White Album” in his early teens and immediately fell in love with rock music. He still considers these two albums to be among his favorites. Led Zeppelin, Talk Talk, Paul Weller, and Jeff Buckley are a few other prominent inspirations. Today, Denney resides in the UK and continues to write and perform his own brand of rock music. He cites his experience in the choir as a young lad as one of the things that led him to pursue a career in music. Denney’s passion for music is evident in his work. His songs are honest and heartfelt.
