German indie pop artist ROS!E has her latest single Can’t Get You Out Of My Mind which will get you trapped. Hailing from Stuttgart, the twenty year old singer-songwriter has been sculpting her unique style and voice. Taking lessons in piano and guitar since age six, she has been into music and singing since her childhood.
The song begins with a super catchy synth key riff with a parallel melody in the background as the percussions kick. The sound here is the modern electropop sonic style. The verses and chorus are in a hook driven style blended well with the modern electropop with touches of retro. Since 2018, ROS!E has been releasing her own original material. Coming up as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition in 2019, only pushed her forward to cement her as a musician to look out for.
It reminds one of artists like The Weeknd, Dua Lipa, Clean Bandit, and Alesso. The white and pink single art cover with a dotted color pattern grants much to create a particular vibe. Production on the song is top-notch. All the elements sound tonally splendid. The synth hooks through the verse ensure that you are engaged in the track. These drop like synths lock into the bass line and the electronic percussion. Vocal layering adds to the stunning mix of the song. On the chorus, the vocal harmonies with their subtle touches, add a sense of the mystical to the song. With Can’t Get You Out Of My Mind, ROS!E raises the stakes to some tight songwriting.
