When the pandemic in 2020, Mote was one of the many musicians who had to make a quick decision about where to weather the storm. Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Mote made the decision to move to Berlin, Germany just a few weeks before everyone’s attention was captured by the virus. He is a multi-instrumentalist and composer who creates Indie Rock/Indietronica with classic melodies and sincere lyrics set to upbeat beats, vivid guitar, and ethereal synthetic textures. Several singles by Mote were released in the fall of 2021, along with his first independently produced music video for the industrial-pop tune “Bondage.” Mote has continued to create and release new music, and he shows no signs of slowing down.
