Strangely Alright-The Grave | In curiosity

There is an alternating time warp through a thread of the Twilight Zone. The resultant is a music project unique in terms of style and execution, but real students of the form. Strangely Alright mould, a lead statue of a sound that traverses through time in a single track. This is their latest single, The Grave.

Part The Cure and somehow a chorus dominated by alt-rock wonders 3 Doors Down, this song is full of surprises. Strangely Alright are always waltzing through different portals, setting up stage wherever the sound leads them. With vocals like Robert Smith’s and a sound that has a tidal change with the rhythm the lyrics provide, this is a chameleon in art-a beauty to behold. There are aspects of the track that have the aggression of an emo-rock project, yet the sorrowful symphonies that carry a new-wave rock sensibility. It is a greeting card with a glittered emboss that yells surprise.

Worry not, for this band will continue to challenge themselves. Not that you were worrying. Their opioid kick came from their hit track Psych Film, and a slew of interesting singles that they have expertly curated since. Listen to their track here and enjoy their pages of rock history:

Self professed metalhead, moderately well read. If the music has soul, it's whole to me. The fact that my bio could have ended on a rhyme and doesn't should tell you a lot about my personality.
