Frannie B – Wonderland | Dance, Relax, Vibe

Frannie Brown, better known as Frannie B, is an up-and-coming indie singer-songwriter with a unique sound that blends dark pop, dance, and R&B. Frannie B’s music is as wide as it is dynamic, ranging from the catchy Pop melodies of Rita Ora to the deeper hues of Dua Lipa and even heaping helpings of R&B stylings ala Kehlani. Her music has been compared to a melting pot of deep and delicate voice lines crashing into a sea of computerized sounds. In a short period, her music has gained critical recognition, garnering praise from well-known performers like Sinead Harnett and Jessie Ware. However, what really sets Frannie B apart is her ability to bring these disparate sounds together into a cohesive and captivating whole. There’s something for everyone in Frannie B’s musical world.

Frannie has released a new album, “Wonderland,” consisting of 5 songs. The first track is “In Too Deep. “In Too Deep” is a powerful and unique song perfect for chasing away negative thoughts and raising your spirits. The song is full of dynamic energy and features beautiful harmonies that will leave you feeling refreshed and invigorated.

“Older” is a song about missed opportunities and what could have been. It’s about wanting to go back in time and meet someone when you’re both a little bit older. The music is lively and upbeat, with a catchy chorus that will stick in your head. Frannie’s vocals are delicate and passionate, making this a song that is both easy to listen to and emotive.

Love is a tricky thing. It can make you feel on top of the world one minute, and the next minute, you’re plunged into a depth of despair. The fear of losing a loved one is one of the most all-consuming emotions we can experience. “Lose You” song expresses that feeling in a very relatable way. The lyrics are raw and honest, conveying the deep anguish of wondering if your relationship will survive. The electronic production adds a sense of urgency as if time is running out. Despite the sad subject matter, the song has a catchy melody and a danceable beat. This juxtaposition perfectly encapsulates the emotional rollercoaster.

I think the sentiment behind the song “Too Young To Be This Sad” is something that a lot of people can relate to. It’s a song about being sick of feeling down and hopeless all the time. The atmosphere of the song is quite the contrary, though, with incredible rhythm and sound effects, energetic synths, and a bassline to which you can’t help tapping your feet. It’s a song that makes you want to get up and dance, and that’s something that I think we all need a little more of in our lives. It’s a song that makes you want to appreciate and enjoy life, despite the sadness that may be weighing you down.

“Wonderland” is another blissful and beautiful track. The voice of Frannie never ceases to amaze me. The ambient voice, synths, and bassline are impossible to resist. You will be transported to a place of wonder and delight, and it is impossible for you not to groove along to.

The five-track release is packed with catchy, uptempo tunes that are perfect for getting your body moving. But what I love about the album is its diversity. The songs are reflective, upbeat, and too good to be true. Whether you’re in the mood to dance your heart out or just relax and vibe, “Wonderland” has something for you. I highly recommend giving it a listen!
