Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L already shook up the charts with his album B4 earlier this year. He is a heavyweight floating amongst lightweights-he has a panache and finesse in his compositions many artists lack. Here, he brings about a spicy main course with Aquarius, his latest release.
What you hear is a complete package of sound and lyrical excellence. Breon lets the catchy instrumental marinate, almost soak in the silence, before he comes out. With mastery, the track is composed such that the sound recedes when the bars kick in. Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L proceeds to give us a little glimpse of his life, the sun sign, and it’s relevance in his life. It is a moment of reflection and introspection that he crafts into this incredibly personal account of life and happenings, like a page out of a journal.
I had reviewed his single earlier this year called T.D.I.M. Breon has not rested since then-working on more complex arrangements and styles. The instrumental sections used are tailor-made and are intense as per the song. He is on a constant path to improve, and he makes sure he puts in the work.
