Joshua Ketchmark – Tazewell County Line| Roots n Regrets

Alternative country artist Joshua Ketchmark has come up with a brand new fiery single with his latest release Tazewell County Line. Tazewell County Line is the final concluding and twelfth track from his tenth studio album Blood. Hailing from Peoria, Illinois, in the Midwest, Joshua gre up with diverse muscial influences including Queen, The Beatles, Prince, and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Tazewell County Line manages to be an Americana song you’ll play while reflecting on your life.

The song begins with a steady drum beat, acoustic guitar rhythm, and an electric guitar lead which is smooth as wine. Then the acoustic plays along with the reflective vocals by Joshua Ketchmark. The chorus hits you in a casual flow as you listen to the lyrics pregnant with emotion and retrospection. Shining lyricism exuding soul coupled with a voice to emote it is not dissimilar from the songwriting and musicianship of artists like Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, and Bob Seger but with their own unique sonic signature.

Sentiments are expressed with restrained angst and a composed manner. Rustic feel of the music can not only be heard but also smelt in the sonic canvass of the production and arrangement. Tazewell County Line has been produced by Joshua Ketchmark to the top notch degree with impeccable songwriting. The track reflects nostalgia, the past, feelings of things not having come to fruition, and redeeming one’s memory. While we can’t be sure if Joshua will ever get his six bucks back from Gene Simmons, this is a song you can bet a grand on.
