Andrew Ruoti – Odyssey | A Memorable Journey

When Andrew Ruoti was just a child, he started jamming with his dad on the guitar. This early passion for music led him to become a solo singer-songwriter, guitarist, bassist, music educator, and meditation instructor. In venues across the Hudson Valley for years, Andrew and his bands have wowed audiences, critics, and fans. They have been consistently rated the most popular band by Rhythm & News Magazine for three consecutive years. They have performed as openers at legendary venues like CBGB and the Chance Theatre for big-name acts like Evanescence. There’s no doubt that these talented musicians are making a name for themselves and winning over hearts with their music.

Along with the two-time Emmy Award-winning producer Uly Millan, he is back with a new album called “Odyssey.” The album has five songs. If you’re looking for a song that immediately grabs your attention and creates a dreamy, captivating atmosphere, “State of the World” is a perfect choice. Andrew’s ambient vocal qualities produce a stunning effect that will surely leave you mesmerized. The song gradually builds tension before calming down towards the end, making it a truly unique and captivating experience.

Have you ever had one of those days when nothing seemed to go right? You know, the kind of day where you stub your toe, spill your coffee, and then your boss yells at you for being late? Yeah, we’ve all been there. But what if there was a song that could instantly turn your day around? Well, lucky for you, there is! The song is called “Special Day.” It’s a fun, upbeat track with catchy lyrics that will make you want to sing along. The arrangement is fantastic, with the perfect mix of instruments that create a great sound. And the vocals are powerful and energetic – you can’t help but get caught up in the song’s emotion.

Music is one of the most powerful forms of expression. It can inspire, uplift, and even change our moods. And few songs do this as beautifully as “Tribals and Tribulations.” This track is my favorite of the album for its stunning use of instruments and the perfect blend of melody and harmony. The opening guitar work is simply dreamy and perfectly sets the stage for the rest of the song. As the song progresses, you can feel the emotions swelling up inside you. And even though there are no lyrics, the music alone speaks a thousand words. It’s a truly fantastic track that perfectly captures the feeling of standing on the beach, admiring a beautiful sunset, with a cool breeze hitting your face. It’s simply magical.

“Deconstruct” definitely rocks! The heavy riffs and thundering basslines create a powerful sound that will pump your adrenaline. And Routi’s vocals are the perfect complement to this high-energy track. He sounds rough and raw, adding to the song’s overall intensity. If you’re looking for a song that will get you fired up, look no further than “Deconstruct.” It’s a classic rock song that can get your blood flowing.

The album comes to a close with the song “Odivisha (Home).” The song is based around an ambient soundscape, which creates a feeling of peace and serenity which calms your soul. It creates a beautiful and moving conclusion to the album.

This album has been a journey for me. I’ve never felt so many emotions while listening to an album before. It’s been a rollercoaster ride of happiness and tranquillity, and everything in between.

Enjoy listening to Odyssey here.
