Tortured Soul – Your Body Doesn’t Lie | A Groovy Musical Journey

Tortured Soul is a groove-centered rhythm band with a soulful sound and an original take on modern house music. The band comprises outstanding worldwide artists who have created such incredible music.  The group’s singer-songwriter and frontman, John-Christian Urich, drums and sing with seamless mastery, and the rest of the band is equally impressive. They draw inspiration from Prince, Heatwave, and Kool & The Gang’s classic songwriting, but they’re not afraid to experiment with their sound. Their style has been compared to “The Roots of House Music,” but it sounds like Neo-Soul bands like Jamiroquai or Brand New Heavies and the modern freshness of House producers like Dave Lee and Louie Vega. However they define themselves from other groups in this genre, their true identity is something special: It’s heartfelt, profound, and one-of-a-kind.

The tortured soul has now come up with a new album, ‘Your Body doesn’t lie.’ The album is of 5 songs. The first song is the same as the album title. ‘Your Body Doesn’t Lie.’ I love this song! The opening is smooth and jazzy but transfers into the dance music vibe. The horns add to the upbeat energy of the track, and the lyrics are full of passion. Hopefully, you will get as lost in their love as I did listening to this song.

The second song on the album is ‘Your Body Doesn’t Lie- Fka Mash Re-Glitch Radio Edit.’ The song is in collaboration with South African DJ/Producer Fka Mash The song has a more trance-like feel, with deeper beats and a psychedelic undertone. It has a euphoric note in it that leaves you wanting for more. In this remix, you feel relaxed but dancey at the same time. There is no denying that this song has so many different emotions for it to work through all these stages but still come out strong at the end.

Next, we have ‘ Your Body Doesn’t Lie- Fka Mash Re-Glitch Club Mix.’ The song had me bopping my head in no time. What a breathtaking experience! The music and vocals were beautiful. The audio quality is top-notch, with a balance between synths, bass, and drums. The first 30 seconds of the track are more than enough to captivate you.

The fourth song on the album is ‘Your Body Doesn’t Lie- Atjazz Love Soul Remix.’ this remix is different! It’s like a whole new song. The bassline is killer, and the music overall is peppy and catchy. There’s something about how this song has been arranged that makes it feel fresh and exciting. The beats are great, too—they’re upbeat and bouncy, but not in an annoying way. This t will have you moving your feet from the first note to the last one!

Finally, the last song is ‘ Your Body Doesn’t Lie- Original Instrumental.’ As the title suggests, this is a full instrumental version of the original song. It’s so relaxing just to sit back and listen to the music. It makes you feel like you’re in a tropical setting, and you can immerse yourself in the ambiance of the music. I think this would be a great song to listen to while working out or walking in nature!

The tracks are very different, so you can’t go wrong with any of them. If you’re looking for something to get you through your day or make you feel good, this is definitely what you need.
